The Fisherman's Shelter

This tiny village of Staithes nestles in a natural harbour in between high, tottering cliffs which are frequently battered by stormy northerly winds. Famed as much for it's association with Captain Cook (who lived here) and seafaring heritage as it is for it's narrow alleyways, cobbled streets and unique atmosphere.
